We are committed to ensuring the PALA 2024 conference is as sustainable as possible. In addition to following Sheffield Hallam University’s Sustainable Campus Commitment, we are also:
- Making all lunches and snacks vegan/vegetarian throughout the conference. (Please note that the conference dinner will include a meat option)
- Keeping printed materials to a minimum including providing hard copies of the conference programme only with abstracts provided online. (Hard copies of abstracts will be available on request)
- Not producing a conference branded bag.
We invite delegates to:
- Use public transport to travel to and within Sheffield
- Bring reusable water bottles to the conference and fill them via drinking fountains
- Bring reusable coffee cups
- Use allocated recycling bins on campus.
