Sheffield is a cultural city, home to the largest theatre complex outside of London and an array of museums and galleries. It’s known for producing some of the nation’s most celebrated musicians, including acts such as Joe Cocker, Def Leppard, The Human League, Heaven 17, Pulp and the Arctic Monkeys.

One of the greenest cities in Europe, Sheffield is also nicknamed ‘the outdoor city’, perfect for outdoor adventure and sports enthusiasts. The city itself is full of parks, gardens, and wide-open spaces. And if that’s not enough, a third of the city is situated within the Peak District National Park.

Sheffield is also becoming known for its food and drink scene. The city offers a wide variety of dining experiences including, cosy cafes, local breweries, fine dining, and cocktail bars as well as food courts and pop-up street food events.
